He was a retired member of the Cooperstown Fire Department. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Margaret Ferbert of Cobleskill and a niece and nephews. A Requiem Mass was celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 31, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, by the Rev. Robert C. Murphy, pastor. Burial will be later in Lakewood Cemetery in Cooperstown ..."
