probably descendant of Andrew Dalrymple, the immigrant (1684-1762) & Dorothy (Shepard) Dalrymple; they were of Uxbridge. Andrew and Dorothy had a son, John Dalrymple (b.1722), who married Elizabeth Young; perhaps this John and Elizabeth are the parents of Thomas.
Andrew and Dorothy had several other children, including David and Andrew Jr whose lines are covered in the History of Colrain by Lois M Patrie.
