TOOELE - James J. Jackson, 69, died Oct. 12, 1977 in a Tooele Hospital.

Born March 14, 1908, Nephi, to Bert and Emily Coulson Jackson. Married Della Wise, March 31, 1931. Moved to Tooele, 1937. Engaged in farming, worked in Elton Tunnel until it's closing. Retired from Tooele Army Depot, 1968. Member, FOE, No. 164, past officer, Tooele Bit and Spur.

Survivors: wife, Tooele; daughters, Mrs. Pete (Joyce) Buzinis, Tooele; Mrs. Robert (Kaydean) Vitatoe, Salt Lake City; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Eugene Jakcson, Nephi; sisters, Mrs. Rachel York, Magna; Mrs. Pearl Houston, Mrs. Ruth Tuff, Mrs. Bruce (Nelda) Holman, all Salt Lake City; Mrs. George (Florence) Kramer, Mrs. Leonard (Ada) Elder, both Tooele.

Funeral services Saturday, 1 p.m., Tale Mortuary, 110 South Main, Tooele, where friends may call Friday, 7-9 p.m., and Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment, Tooele City Cemetery.

TOOELE - Funeral services for James J. Jackson, 69, who died Wednesday, Oct . 12, 1977, in a Tooele hospital, will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Tate Mortuary, 110 S Main, Tooele.

Born March 14, 1908 in Nephi to Bert and Emily Coulson Jackson, he married Della Wise March 31, 1931. He moved to Tooele in 1937. He was a farmer and worked in Elton Tunnel until it's closing. He retired from the Tooele Army Depot in 1968. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge No. 164 and was a past officer of Tooele Bit and Spur.

Survivors include his wife, Tooele; two daughters, Mrs. Pete (Joyce) Buzinis, Tooele; Mrs. Robert (Kaydean) Vitatoe, Salt Lake City; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Eugene Jakcson, Nephi; sisters, Mrs. Rachel York, Magna; Mrs. Pearl Houston, Mrs. Ruth Tuff, Mrs. Bruce (Nelda) Holman, all Salt Lake City; Mrs. George (Florence) Kramer, Mrs. Leonard (Ada) Elder, both Tooele.
