"Mrs. Hannah Stringer, an aged and highly esteemed resident of the Village of Cherry Valley, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George E. Pegg, Thursday of last week, after an illness extending over a period of may years, age eighty-three years. Mrs. Stringer had been a sufferer from rheumatism for many years, for several years past confined to her bed, and although her sufferings had been extremely severe, she bore them with wonderful fortitude, never complaining. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. George E. Pegg, of this village, and son, Edward Stringer, of Albany. Funeral services were held at her late home on Wednesday, the Rev. F. N.
