Ruth F. (Story) Warner Brockman, age 91 passed away Friday October 12, at Willow Care Nursing, Willow Springs, MO. Ruth, the daughter of Jess and Nora (Gordon) Story was born January 25, 1921 in Burnham, MO.
She was married to Raymond L. Warner and to this union 3 daughters were born, Shirley, Deloris Ann and Deborah.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond and two grandsons. She is survived by her three daughters; Shirley Burnett of Pomona, MO, Ann Warner of Willow Springs, MO and Deborah Murphy of Belton, MO; 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; one brother John Story and three sisters: Irma and husband Gaylen Jones, Melba and husband Tom Rothermich and Jessie Hitzfield, many nieces and nephews.
Ruth was a Christian and attended church in Willow Springs.
Her life was an eventful journey because no matter what needed to be done, she was ready for the challenge. She was known and loved by many in the community. She was generous to a fault, giving of her time and talents to the job at hand. She enjoyed quilting and sewing, but especially loved time spent with her family.
She was a loving soul with a heart of gold and a warrior spirit. She will be missed by many.
