Jerry lived all of his life in the Bristol area and was a maintenance mechanic for the Ball Corp. He was a member of the Snead Racing Team, where he enjoyed drag racing, building Junior Dragster engines, also rebuilding and restoring Corvettes. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, James "Buzz" Robinson.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2012 in the Glenwood Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Branch officiating.
