MRS. ISABELLA LENAHAN DIES AT AGE OF NINETY
Mrs. Isabella Lenahan was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the year 1838 and passed from this life on February 4, 1928, being aged almost ninety years. With the exception of the first five years, her etire life was spent in Wisconsin.
She lived in the town of Kendall, LaFayette county, and in Darlington until little over a year ago when she moved to Mineral Point, where she and her daughter made their home with Mr. and Mrs. O.L. McCarvlle.
She was united in Marriage to James Lenahan at the town of Kendall in LaFayette county and to this union four daughters were born, three of whom, namely, Mrs. Mary Sreenan, Isabella and Anna, have preceded her in death, and one, Miss Ella Lenahan, Mineral Point, surviving. One grandson, Hugh Sreenan of Darlington, also survives her. Mrs. Lenahan departed this life in November, 1910.
The deceased was a faithful and earnest Catholic and a kind, loving mother. She was of a cheerful and patient disposition and although in poor health for a number of years, bore her illness with remarkable fortitude and passed from this life secure in the last rites of her church.
The funeral took place Monday, February 6, with services at St. Paul's church. Requiem high mass was celebrated b Rev. M.C. Morris, who also preached a spended sermon. The remains were interred in St. Paul's Cemetery besides those of her husband and three daughters.
