Mrs. Clara Sasser Harper, 87, died Saturday, June 28, at 11:10 p.m. in Collingsworth General Hospital, after a short illness.
Mrs. Harper was born October 25, 1898, in Whitesboro, the daughter of Joseph Sasser and Viola Teakell Sasser.
She came to Wellington as a child, with her family.
She is survived by a son Truitt McCoy of Endee, N.M.; a brother, Harvey Sasser of San Jon, N.M.; 9 grandchildren, a number of great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, David Jesse, a daughter, Myrhil Keel, two sisters, and several brothers.
