MELVIN A. RHUDY
The funeral for Melvin A. Rhudy, 73, 700 W. Prescott, will be at 10:30 am Friday at
the Trinity Lutheran Church, the Rev. Norman E. Walter officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial park cemetery.
Mr. Rhudy died Wednesday at St. John's hospital after a long illness.
He was born Jan. 19, 1901, at King City, Mo. He was a machinist for the Union Pacific Railroad for more than 40 years and retired in 1960. He had been in poor health for several years. Mr. Rhudy was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church,the Union Pacific Old Timers club and the Lutheran Laymen club.
Survivors are the widow, Mary A., of the home; a brother, Ted, Holland Mich.; 2
sisters, Mrs. Dick Oetting, Solomon, and Mrs. Bessie Richards, Martinez, Calif.
Friends may call at Geisendorf Rush Smith funeral home until Friday morning.
