Mrs. Stam, a former Seattle resident, died at her Palm Desert Home Friday. She was 69. She had been living in California for the past three years.
She was born in Junction City, Ore., July 15, 1894. She was graduated from the University of Oregon in 1916 where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.
She is survived by the widower, J. B. Stam, Palm Desert; three daughters, Mrs. George B. Campbell, and Mrs. John C. Hampton both of Portland and Mrs. Ronald M. Getty, of Byram, Conn.; a brother, Edward F. Bailey, Eugene; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Doran and Mrs. Frances Shrade, also of Eugene, and seven grandchildren.
