COBER, Jean Audrey (nee Chambers) Went to meet her Lord and Creator at Guelph General Hospital on Sunday, October 7, 2012. She was in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Alvin Leroy Cober (2007). Dear mother of Garry and his wife Leslie, Judith Hall, Mark and Marie, Janice Shantz and her husband Darrell; ten grandchildren, Jeannette, Karen, Jonathan (Amber), Sarah (Matt), David, Rachel, Jasmine, Kenton, Renee, and Wendy; also five great- grandchildren. Dear sister of Ellen Clark, Jean Chambers, Ross and Marilyn Chambers, Verna and Bill Riexinger, and Betty and Gary Padereski. Predeceased by her parents John and Beatrice Chambers, brothers Art and Harry (Sarah), and brother-in-law Glen Clark. Jean was a faithful member of Grace Mennonite Church of New Hamburg, and will be missed by her many friends. Jean volunteered her services to the Gospel Echoes Prison Ministries for many years. Jean's family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday, October 10, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, (519-749- 8467) and will continue on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Steinmann Mennonite Church from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. Funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Steinmann Mennonite Church, 1316 Snyder's Rd. W., Baden with Pastor Howard Bean and Pastor Earl Koch officiating. Reception to follow at the church. Interment will take place in the Rosebank Cemetery, Huron Rd at 4:30 p.m. that afternoon. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Gospel Echoes Prison Ministry or Christian Blind Mission in Stouffville would be appreciated by the family.
