Robert "Bobby" Laughlin Thompson, age 55, of Maryville, went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 6, 2012 at home.

He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Thompson; brother, Billy Thompson; sister, Linda Canter; and grandparents, W.H. and Martha Thompson, and W.A. and Johnnie Murphy.

He is survived by his daughter, Amy Thompson; grandsons, Charlie Blair and Chad Blankenship; great-grandson, Charlie Blair III; mother, Frances Coffman; sister, Carole (Roger) Ezell; brother-in-law, Charles Canter, St. Charles, MO; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and special friends, Julie Cochran, David Ledger, and John Blankenship. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.

Graveside service and interment will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Liberty Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville. (865) 982-6041 www.millerfuneralhome.org
