Mrs. IRENE McGRAW ROHRER, 429 North Locust Street, widow of George W. Rohrer, died at the Washington County Hospital Thursday morning after a long illness. Mrs. Rohrer was born in Sharpsburg in 1868, the daughter of Jacob and Anna Mary (Kretzer) McGraw.

She had been a resident of Hagerstown since 1901 and through the years was a devoted member of Trinity Lutheran Church, teaching in the Sunday School and taking an active part in the Women's Missionary Society and the Altar Guild of the church. In addition to her church activity, Mrs. Rohrer gave much time to ecclestastical needlework, a field in which she was a recognized authority and an accomplished craftsman. Her husband, who was president of J.W. Myers and Co. and an active layman in Trinity Church, died in 1936.

She is survived by her daughter, Margaret, wife of the Rev. Dr. Ralph C. Robinson, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Spring Grove, Pa.; two grandchildren, David Timothy Robinson and Mrs. Charles E. Arnold, Jr.; a great grandchild, Jennifer Irene Arnold of Sprinfield Grove, Pa.; two sisters, Miss Daisy McGraw, Washington, D.C. and Miss Hallie McGraw, Sykesville.

Funeral services were held at the Minnich Funeral Home; interment was in Mountain View Cemetery, Sharpsburg.
