Charles Henry Allen was born William L. Page to Arwine Page and Amanda Trapp. William was born in DeKalb Co, TN April 8, 1864. He married Josephine Green "Josie" Stephens in Ashgrove, Callahan Co, TX, September 3, 1892. William died September 1, 1955 in Salem, OR, at 91 years of age."
Notes for William L. Page: D. Mitchell Jones (per Tommy Webb - DeKalb Co., TN Historian) "William moved from DeKalb County to Texas near his Uncle Hugh Allen. There he changed his name to Charles Henry Allen and used Hugh Allen (his biological uncle) as his father. Later moved to Portland, OR and legally changed his name to Charles Henry Allen and had birth certificates made for each of his children using the name Allen." (per descendant Bernadine Stage)"
It's believed that burial is at Lincoln Memorial Park Portland, OR. More research needed.
