Family lure is that there were twins that died young

Our Lady of Angels Church records report that William Schewe, age 13. died on December 24, 1898 and was buried on December 25, 1898. (Burials - page 463 on that same page is recorded that Francis Schewe, age 7, died on December 24, 1898 and was buried on December 25, 1898.

The December 25, 1898 edition of the Albany Argus newspaper reported that Frank Schewe, age 8, had fallen through thin ice in Tivoli Lake around 10:00 p.m. His older brother, William Schewe, also went through the ice trying to save his younger brother, Frank. Another friend, William Rapp, went through the ice trying to rescue the Schewe brothers. All three were drowned.

Our Lady of Angels Records on page 423 (ACGS, Manchester NH) record that William Rapp, age 11, died on December 24, 1898 and was buried on December 26, 1898 in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. "Cause of the death: Accidental drowning"
