Born in Milwaukee, WI. to Mary Blinkiewicz and Charles Henning Assarsson. Married for 64 years to Alfred J. Olson. An avid reader, wrote poetry, loved crossword puzzles, baking and had a sense of humor. Spiritually she was a Lutheran, Catholic and lastly a Mormon, which she liked the best.
Survived by her husband; daughters: Leslie (Dave) Nielson; Sally (Bryce) Baker; sister, Irma (Roy) Bowman; niece, Kathy Gomez; grandchildren: Cindy, Allison, Krista, Chris, Candice; five great-grandkids. Preceded in death by sister, Ruth Gomez; sons, David and Robert. Best friends were Philo, Carm, Elsie, Charlotte, and several others in her ward.
Graveside services will be held March 29, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. prior to graveside services at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful.
