Gerald G. Hayes
LODI - Gerald G. Hayes, 49, of West Seneca Street, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 1987, at Geneva General. He was born in Lodi, the son of Gladys Conklin Hayes of Interlaken and the late John Hayes.
Mr Hayes was a lifetime resident of Lodi and was employed at the Willard Psychiatric Center as a mental hygiene therapy aid.
Including his mother, Mr. Hayes is survived by two sons, Chris Hayes and Tim Hayes, both of Ovid; one daughter, Julie Hayes of Romulus; tow grandchildren; four brothers, Donald Hayes of Elyria, Ohio, Harry Hayes and Harold Hayes, both of Lodi and Richard Hayes of Montour Falls; five sisters, Rhirely Brown of Logan, Mildred Murinchock, Elizabeth Austin, Ellen McCheyne and Helen White, all of Ithaca; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, at Covert Funeral Home, Ovid, with the Rev. Nicholas Vander Weide, pastor of the Interlaken Reform Church, officiating.
Burial will be in the West Lodi Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the South Seneca Ambulance Corp.
