Nannie was the daughter of Jeremiah and Martha M. "Mattie" Posey Staples. Nannie's birth date is listed as July 1891 in the 1900 Anderson County, TX census. She married Allen Jackson Bairfield. Their son, Amos Carroll Bairfield Sr. and daughters,
Doris Bairfield Davis and Angenora Pearl Bairfield Rast, are buried is Fields Chapel Cemetery. Nannie was residing in Galena Park, TX at the time of her death in a Pasadena hospital. According to their death certificates, Allen and Nannie are buried in Fields Chapel Cemetery.
