Born in Mingo County, W. Va., April 16, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Samantha Meadows Smith.
Survivors include four sons, Ray Hall of New York, Alton Hall of Texas, Joseph D. Stocton and William Trammel, both of West Virginia; daughter, Joan Stocton, West Virginia; brother, E.R. Meadows of Varney, W. Va.; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by son, Kenneth P. Hall; and two brothers, James and George Smith.
Funeral Services will be held in the Chafin Funeral Home, Delbarton, Friday, June 8, 2001, 11 a.m. with Rev. C.R. Evans officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home, Thursday after 6 p.m.
Interment will follow in the Marcum Cemetary, Delbarton.
