Eva Loggins Springer, age 90 of Fort Worth, passed away Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012.
Service: 12:30 p.m. Friday in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth.
Eva was born Sept. 16, 1922, to Tommy and Hattie Loggins. She was brought up in a large family and raised in Ellis County. She moved to Fort Worth during World War II and worked in a bomb factory. She later worked and retired as a bookkeeper for the U.S. government.
During her retirement, Eva was very active in the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. She also enjoyed music and carpentry. She was constantly adding on to her second home in Weatherford. But what she loved most was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
Eva was preceded in death by her husband, George Springer, and a son, William Douglas Andrews.
Survivors: Son, David Andrews and wife, Kathie; grandchildren, Shana Andrews and Amy Knuff and husband, Steve; great-grandchildren, Eva Bolton, Isabella Knuff and Holden Knuff; siblings, Kenneth Loggins and wife, Lanelle, Layland Loggins and and wife, Claudia, and Tahle Bugg and husband, Billy; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
