"Mrs. Leon Wilford, who had resided at Maryland nearly a month, having moved there from East Worcester, passed away Thursday afternoon of last week at the Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital. She had been a patient at the hospital since July 12th. Mrs. Wilford was born at Schenevus September 30, 1886, a daughter of Dewitt and Emma (Sheldon) Andrews. She is survived by her husband and six sons and daughters, by a former husband, Walter Smith of Carlisle, Mrs. Joseph Chamberlain of Lawyersville, Mrs. Harold Gallup of Cobleskill, Howard Smith of Oaksville, Mrs. James Chamberlain of Gloversville Corners, and Mrs. Johnnie Kilts of Binghamton.
