MRS. HELEN M. M'GUIRE
The remains of Mrs Helen M McGuire, who died here Monday morning, will be taken to Beattyville, Ky., via the Interurban to Versailles and the L & A, where the burial will take place Wednesday afternoon in the family cemetery. Mrs McGuire had been an invalid here for some time, having suffered from a broken hip. She was accompanied home by her two sons, W T & Monroe McGuire. She was the sister of Major E B Treadway, of Booneville, Ky., who was a lieutenant in the Mexican war and a major in the civil war and also a member of the general assembly.
Mrs McGuire was sixty-five years of age and is survived by her husband, Mr A B McGuire, who fifty years ago was associated commercially with the business interests of Lexington: seven sons and one daughter. The family of McGuires have always occupied a high position in the advancement of education and commercial betterment in their county and district.
