George Brook Curtis, 87, our loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012 surrounded by his loving family.
Born November 25, 1924 in Orangeville, Utah to Lyman and Cora Sitterud Curtis. George attended Central High School and BYU. He married Lorraine Holmes (deceased) and they had one daughter, Debbie. He married EeDel Farrer in Provo, Utah and they were later sealed in the Manti Temple.
He is survived by his wife EeDel, his daughters Debbie Curtis, Salt Lake, Pennie (James) Hansen, American Fork, Vicki Curtis (Riverton) and his son Creed (Audrey) Curtis, Clearfield, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Four sisters also survive him: Jeanne, Joyce, Carol, and Merlin.
Preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Jack, Roger, and Bill, and his sister, Beatrice.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Anderson and Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork. Friends may call at the mortuary Monday, Oct. 1 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 2, from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the American Fork City Cemetery.
