Miss Eva Ankrom Dies In Seattle
Word has been received here of the death of Miss Eva Ankrom, who passed away Sunday eveing at her home in Seattle, Wash. She was the sister of W. J. Ankrom, 406 West Kirkwood, who is now the only member of the family surviving.
Miss Ankrom was well known here. She went to Seattle a number of years ago where she was in business. She was affiliated with the Eastern Star.
Mr. Ankrom believes her death must have been sudden as he had received a letter only last week from his sister, in which no mention was made of her being ill. It is thought that, according to her wishes, the body will be cremated there and the ashes returned to Fairfield for burial.
