New York City Assistant District Attorney. In 1919 he prosecuted and convicted the founders of the Communist Party of the United States. He then became a New York State Appellate Judge. Previously he had been the Head Coach at George Washington University leading the 1904 football team to a 4-2-2 record. He was the father of Alexander I Rorke, Jr..
