Pioneer of Foundry Business Dies Here
John F. Moore, 72, pioneer iron foundry man of Fort Worth, died Thursday morning at his home, 1115 North Street. He had been in Fort Worth more than twenty-five years. Until three years ago he was active in the Van Zandt-Moore Iron Works and retired on account of ill health.
He is survived by four daughters, Bessie, Annie and Sadie, of Fort Worth, Mrs. B. J. Duffy of Cremlin, Okla., and one son, Joseph Moore of Fort Worth. Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Friday morning from St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Rev. Robert Nolan officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
