Indian Wars Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. Born a Yuma Arizona tribesman, he served as a Army Sergeant Scout in Company A, US Cavalry. During engagements with hostile Apache Indians in Arizona Territory, March 7, 1890, Sergeant Rowdy showed continuing courage in locating the enemy and relaying the information to his command. For bravery in action, he and three other scouts were awarded the Medal of Honor. (bio by: John "J-Cat" Griffith)
