Temple Gillman served with Distinguished Service during the Civil War. He enlisted as a Private on August 13, 1862 and served with the 111th Regiment Illinois Infantry. Temple mustered out of the army on June 7, 1865 in Washington DC. In 1870, Temple and Lorinda Gillman resided in St. Clair, Illinois. By 1873, Temple and Lorinda had six children. Temple Gillman died prior to 1877.
