(October 11, 1923 - September 23, 2012)

Kalolaine Vaka Mapa passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.

She is reuinted with her eternal husband and two daughters. She will be greatly missed.

Kalolaine was born October 11, 1923 to Sateki Vaka and Mele'ana Koloaleo' in Haveluloto Tonga.

She attended Kolisi Makeke and Kolisi Kuini Salote schools in Tonga.

She was the School Dux at Kolisi Makeke.

Her hobbies included Genealogy, Haka puteni, scripture reading, tatting and music.

She was employed as a Oral genealogy Interviewer.

She is preceded in death by her husband Tevita Uatahausi Mapa, daughters, 'Atelaite Taupeavai Hemaloto, and Siulolovao Tapuar Tephi Tu'itavuki.

Kalolaine is survived by three children, Mele Tupouta'ane Ika (Sione), Sela Tupouvainiaku Botchway (Ben), Viliami Ma'afutu'itonga Mapa (Lani). Nineteen grandchilren, Metui, Marie, Lita, Krystal, Filini, Letizia, Jana, Kalolaine, Tonga, LaVell, Katie, Laveitiana, Theresa, Naomi, Lu'isa, Panuve, 'Atelaite, Milika, Marie. Ten great grandchildren, Nonga, Uata, Lilly, Sesi, 'Otto, Crazee, Malu, Moti, Athena, Achilles.
