George Ann Featherston, 70, of Macon, Miss., died July 16, 2004, at Riley Hospital, Meridian, Miss.
She was born Sept. 2, 1933, in Orlando.
She graduated from Vero Beach High School, Vero Beach, Fl., and was a graduate of Marjorie Webster Junior College, Washington, D.C.
She was a Realtor.
She was and a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Colonial Dames of America, Huguenot Society, Golden Triangle Realtors Association and First United Methodist Church, Macon, Miss., where she had taught Sunday school.
She was a former leader in Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts.
Survivors are daughters Vaughn Nickels, of Columbus, Miss., and Katherine Musil, of Tallahassee; son Dillard Featherston III, of Broken Arrow, Okla.; sister Kay Benson, of St. Simons Island, Ga.; brother Calvin Cox of Vero Beach; and 12 grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1 to 2:30 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church, Macon, in the fellowship hall. A funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the church with the Rev. D.R. Ragsdale officiating.
Burial will be at Oddfellows Cemetery, Macon. Arrangements are under the direction of Cockrell Funeral Home Inc., Macon.
