OBITUARY
A Mass for Steve P. "Staggs" Uchrin, 75, a lifelong Edison resident, will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Peace Church, Edison. The funeral will be from the Flynn & Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords.
Mr. Uchrin died Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Linda Nagy of Colonia.
He was a carpenter with the American Smelting and Refining Co. in Perth Amboy for 29 years before retiring 23 years ago.
Mr. Uchrin served in the Army during World War II. He received a Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
Surviving are a son, Steve; two sisters, Mrs. Ann Sherayko and Mrs. Marge Dobrowski; three brothers, George, John and William, and three grandchildren.
