MAUD M. (GRAMMER) EDMISTON - 96, of Barry died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 1982 in the Barry Community Care Center, where she had been a resident for four months.
Born Jan. 23, 1886, she was a daughter of Webber and Mary Hill Grammer.
She married Emmett R. Edmiston in 1917. He died in 1966.
She was the oldest member of the Baylis United Methodist Church. She taught Sunday School for many years and was a member of the Golden Hour Sunday School class. She was a 55-year member of the Baylis Rebekah Lodge and a member of the Baylis Domestic Science Club.
She is survived by one brother, Lloyd Grammer of Baylis, and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Gill-Lummis Funeral Home at Barry, conducted by the Rev. Donald Stephens. Burial was in Baylis cemetery.
