Zelpha Esther Scott Miller, 83, died April 29, 2003, at her home in Shelley, under care of Eastern Idaho Hospice. She was born July 2, 1919 in Melba, Idaho, to Samuel Rudger Scott and Esther Denning. She grew up in the Ririe area. On August 22, 1936, she married Gordon Lee Miller in Ririe. She was a homemaker and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, knitting, painting, ceramics, and especially loved fishing.

Funeral services were held Friday, May 2, 2003, at Shelley-Taylor Ward, 1101 E. 1250 North, with Bishop Merrill Hanny officiating. Burial in Ririe-Shelton Cemetery was directed by Wood Funeral Home East.
