Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the high school auditorium for 22-year-old Harold Bohm, former Billings youth, who was one of ten members of the crew of an Air Force C-47, which crashed on Sitkinak Island, Alaska, the 29th of last month. He was a flight mechanic and had enlisted in the Air Force in 1952. The Rev. Harold Mayes will repeat the final rites, and the service will be under the direction of Harris of Billings. The body will be laid to rest in the Smart Cemetery. Young Bohm was a fine young man. He was a graduate of the Billings High School and made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Verfurth while finishing school and until he volunteered for the Air Force. He was widely known in the Billings community as he had worked for a considerable time at the Verfurth Hardware Store. News of his death came as a shock to the entire Billings community, and his hosts of friends are saddened by his untimely death. Survivors include his sister, Mrs. Doris Guennett of St. Louis; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary Arndt of Billings; an aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Arndt of Billings, with whom he spent the early years of his life; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Harold Bohm, 22 of Billings, who was killed in the crash of an Air Force transport plane in Alaska, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Billings High School auditorium, with Rev. Harold Mayes officiating. Burial will be in Smart Cemetery east of Billings under direction of Harris of Billings. Military rites will be performed by Billings American Legion Post No. 139.
