Bradley W. Tompkins, 59, died at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie, and his two sons, Adam and Benjamin, in 1992.
He is survived by his father, his mother, his stepfather, his stepmother, his three brothers and their families, and by his sister. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, his sister-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bradley had retired from Fairfax Water Authority in Fairfax County. He was a computer guru, and a die-hard Apple computer fan and owner. Bradley was a super-intelligent, caring man who possessed total recall. He was dedicated to seeing his 95-year-old mother-in-law, "Miss Pearl" through life before he moved to New Mexico, where he planned to start a new life, build on the property he owned, and start a business there. He also was dedicated to seeing to the needs of his sister; they were best friends. She and her mom always made sure Brad got all of the grilled cheese sandwiches he ever wanted.
Bradley loved the Lord. He's now with Him, Lillie, and their sons, and he's at peace. He is sorely missed by all of his family.
