He married Kathleen Gibson on June 1, 1935 in Chewey. He retired from Diamond International where he worked as a repairman. He was a member ot the union from 1958 until his death.
Preceding him in death: his parents, brother, Clint; 4 sisters, Mae Gann, Elsie Devine, Gladys Severs and Alice Walker.
Survivors inclued: his wife Kathleen, one daughter, Evalena Cox of Westville; two sisters, Hazel franzier of Salina and Charolette Ahren of Siloam Springs, AR.
