Mabel Ruth Lough Koble Bendix, 91, of Bloomfield, formerly of Burlington, died Monday, Nov. 14, 1994, at the Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield.
Born Dec. 4, 1902, in Davis County, she was the daughter of Homer and Flora Lester Lough. On April 19, 1925, she married E.W. Koble in David County. He died June 22, 1955. She then married Raymond A.C. Bendix on June 23, 1962, in Burlington. He died in November 1981.
She had taught in many school districts for 34 years.
She was a member of the Church of Christ in Burlington, Retired Teachers Association in Bloomfield, Rebekah Lodge No. 1 in Bloomfield, Auxiliary of Veterans Railroad of Burlington, and Prime Time Club of Bloomfield. She was past president of the Farm Bureau in Clark County.
Survivors include two step-daughters, Bonnie Bailey of Houston, Texas, and Dorcus Manning of San Antonio, Texas; three step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Lester Lough of Bloomfield; and a siter
Kacena Dabney of Adkin, Texas.
Besides both husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Ora V. Lough and Glen Lough.
