Obit: J. B. Thomas, Special To The State - Sumter, Dec 31st - J.B. Thomas died yesterday morning at the home of his son, H.C. Thomas. Mr. Thomas was 66 years of age and had been ill with pneumonia. The body was taken back to Toledo Ohio for burial. Mr. Thomas had been living at Sumter two years, establishing the Thomas Lumber Company. He was not known very generally but those who had made his acquaintance, they had found him a cordially gentleman of the old school.
