MANY THANKS TO "IN LOVING MEMORY OF MY SON KELLY" FOR SPONSORING CHEYNNE'S SITE. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR LITTLE BABY KELLY ~
Cheyenne Marie Fiveash, 13 years old, went home to be with the Father, our Lord, on October 30, 2004 after a courageous battle with a brain tumor. Cheyenne leaves behind Roy Fiveash, her earthly father, Donna Barger Fiveash her mother, brothers and sister, Michael Fiveash and wife Jodi, Christopher Fiveash and wife Leslie and Diana, all of San Angelo. Paternal Grandparents William Elbert Fiveash and Ruby Bridges Fiveash of Paint Rock, Maternal Grandmother Pearl Barger and late Grandfather John H. Barger (Grandpa Frog), several aunts, uncles, favorite nieces Alyssa, McKayla and Madison Fiveash , 1 nephew, Bryce Fiveash, her little Chihuahua baby, Cinnamon Sugar, and many, many friends and loved ones through out the world.
Cheyenne was born an athlete. She loved track, loved and played basketball on Coach Slate's team, the Mystic Slates, and was a champion in Tang Soo Do Karate with the Marital Arts Academies in San Angelo. Her trophies fill her room.
Cheyenne was also born an animal lover. She could not pass up an animal without wanting to take it home. Of her many pets and animals, her horse, Black Jack, and her baby puppy, Cinnamon Sugar Fiveash meant the world to her.
She was an honorary Constable with the Bexar County Constable's Office in San Antonio and an honorary member of the Angelo State University Rambelles Basketball team, number 00.
She was born in and raised near San Angelo and attended the 7th grade at Christoval Jr High School where she was an excellent student and where she leaves many, many friends. Recently, on her 13th birthday, her friends from Christoval Jr High had a billboard, with Cheyenne's photo and wishing her a happy birthday, placed on US 67 approximately 5 miles west of San Angelo where it still stands. This gift gave Cheyenne immeasurable happiness, and was due in large to the efforts of Cheyenne's very special friends, Mr. and Mrs. Greg Bouligny and their sons James and John.
In recent months, while battling a brain tumor, she has had the privilege of meeting thousands upon thousands of people through her website, www.caringbridge.org/tx/cheyenne5 . Through this website Cheyenne made many, many friends from around the world, both children like herself battling cancer, and complete strangers who have gotten to know and love her. This website was her little ministry and gave her the opportunity to put a little sunshine in other cancer children's lives.
Our Baby and Little Sister;
We miss you so very, very much. Life is forever changed without you and endless sadness will invade each day. We are anxiously awaiting our reunion and homecoming in Heaven. We will love you forever and you will always be my little stink and pumpkin, my mama's girl, my little sis, my little booger, and my little turkey. We WILL see you later!
Daddy, Mommy, Michael, Christopher, and Diana
Services are scheduled for 10am on Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at Trinity Lutheran Church in San Angelo followed by burial at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, Cheyenne would prefer donations to your favorite charity. Her favorite charities were Shannon Hospital Miracle Kids Network, Make A Wish Foundation, Give Kids the World, The Tumbleweed Foundation, Caringbridge, and Audrey's Umbrella. All organizations dedicated to putting a little sunshine in a sick child's life, and all linked to her website listed above.
Many thanks to Tom for adding the picture of Cheyenne's beautiful monument.
