He was born in Madison, grew up in Binghamton, N.Y., and graduated from Binghamton Central High School. He moved to Florida in 1978 and worked as a project supervisor for Michael Walker & Associates of Sarasota. He also served as the stage manager for the Venice Symphony for 19 years and appeared as one of the Dum Dee Doo Wahs in the symphony's annual fundraising show at the Venice Theatre.
He is survived by his mother, Mollie, of Venice, Fla.; and one brother, Eric, of Nokomis, Fla.
A memorial service was held at 4 p.m. Sunday, August, 2, 2009, at Venice Presbyterian Church.
