He worked at Lima Public Schools for three years, B&L Electric in Seminole for nine years and in the oil fields for nine years. Cecil also worked as a mechanic at Patterson's Motors in Seminole.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lima.
He was preceded in death by his father, Caldwell Jackson Sr.
Jackson is survived by his wife, Yolanda Jackson of Oklahoma City; his mother, Pearliree Roberson of Lima; two daughters, Rone ‘Rena' Louie of Langston and Yvette Jackson of Los Angeles; five sons, Eddie L. Louie of Oklahoma City, Fernando Romero Louie of Ada, Sherwood Ray Jackson Sr. of Wewoka, Tyrone Joe Jackson Sr. of Spencer, and Monzell Louie of Lima; two brothers, James Jackson of Lima and Caldwell Jackson Jr. of Oklahoma City; three sisters, Vanessa Ann Jackson of Oklahoma City, Juanita Thompson of Spencer, and Gwendolyn Roberson of Fairfield, Calif.; 27 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
