Mrs. Hattie Lines, 90, of Quincy, formerly of Loraine, died Monday (October 5, 1970)at 5 p.m. in St. Mary's Hospital in Quincy after a long illness.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Tanner Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Grundhofer will officiate. Burial will be in New Loraine Cemetery.
Mrs. Lines was born October 19, 1879, near Loraine, a daughter of Milton and Laura Holden Austin. She was a member of Loraine Christian Church and the Loraine Chapter, OES. She was married to Thomas C. Lines Oct. 10, 1910. He died Nov. 7, 1957. They operated a restaurant in Loraine for a number of years.
Her only survivors are two nephews, Larry and Everett Harris of Loraine, and several great nieces and nephews.
Two sisters, Mrs. Cora Dunbar and Mrs. Emma Harris, and two brothers, Bert and Marion Austin, preceded her in death.
