Gladys M. Heltzinger, 92, of Mt. Penn passed away Friday, Sept. 14, peacefully in her sleep at her residence.
Gladys was born in Reading on April 23, 1920, a daughter of the late Minerva Mae (Smith) and George C. Henrich. She was the widow of Warren J. Heltzinger who predeceased her in 1985. They were married for 40 years.
She worked as a floor worker at Talbot Knitting Mill, Reading, for 17 years retiring in 1984. She also worked for Cinderella Hosiery.
Gladys is survived by three sons, one stepson, one stepdaughter, and her brother.
She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and nine stepgrandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Ethel Moser.
A graveside service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter.
