Mr. S.G. Wentworth yesterday received a telegram from Mr. John M. Vaughn, stating that Mr. H.S. Chadwick was dead and would be buried in Machpelah cemetery on Saturday afternoon, March 1st, at 4 o'clock. Mr. Chadwick was one of the earliest settler's of this city, and was for many years a merchant here. His death will be sad news to his numerous friends.
