Caribou – Marilyn Wardwell, 77 wife of the late Leon Wardwell, died September 14, 2012 at Caribou following a long illness. She was born in Perham, May 30, 1935 the daughter of the late Bert and Annie (Green) Skidgel. Mrs. Wardwell was employed by Tater State as well as Birds Eye for many years. She was a gentle and kind lady who always took care of her family members when they were ill and was loved by all who knew her. Her favorite saying was "I love everyone". She truly loved all animals but especially her cats, Tinkerbell and Little Girl. She is survived by her son Allen Skidgel and his companion Barb of Tennessee. Three grandchildren, Six great grandchildren. Her sister Alice Connor of Sangerville as well as several nieces, nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews and many friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Leon, a granddaughter, Angel, brothers, Donald, Benjamin and Obadiah and a daughter in law Linda.

Graveside services will be held at the Fairview Cemetery Perham with Rev. Bruce Blakney, officiating. (Bangor Daily News 9/15/2012)
