Luther Parrott died at his home three miles east of Marion after a lingering illness. He was 40 years of age. He was well known throughout the county and had many friends who mourn his death. He is survived by his wife and several children. Funeral services were held at Nebo Church Monday afternoon and were conducted by Rev. R.J. Mills.
