Daughter of Orin John Palmatier and Ophelia Jane (Hallenbeck) Palmeter; wife of (1) Wilson P. Hilsinger, and (2) Clem Reed.
"Mrs. Cora Reed, aged 78, of Maryland, died November 15, at Fox Memorial Hospital in Oneonta. She was born January 29, 1884, at Westford, the daughter of Orrin and Opelia (Hollenbeck) Palmater. She married Wilson Hilsinger on August 4, 1903. He died and she married Clem Reed on August 17, 1923. She was employed at the Van Essen Glove Shop in Schenevus. She had lived in Maryland ten years having moved there from Elk Creek. She was a member of the Worcester Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, Jason Hilsinger of Hancock and Arthur Hilsinger of Ilion; a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Baker of Oneonta; a sister, Mrs. Helen E. Streby of Maplestock, N. J.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. on Saturday, November 17, from the Skinner Funeral Home in Worcester, with the Rev. William Quick, pastor of the Worcester Methodist Church, officiating.
