MOUNT OLIVE - Lavada Lolie, 74, of Mount Olive died Saturday, July 24, 2004, at her home.
She was born Nov. 10, 1929, in Dunklin County, Mo., the daughter of Joseph James and Maude Ellen Ahart Dunnivan. She married John Lolie in 1976 in Carlinville; he died in 1983. A son, Jack Turner, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Lolie graduated from Kennett, Mo., High School in 1947. She worked as a certified nursing assistant in home health care. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Staunton.
Survivors: son, John (wife, Linda) Cox of Temple, Texas; three daughters, Linda (husband, Alan) Cooper and Lori (husband, Noble) Partch, both of Mount Olive, and Lisa (husband, Allan) Haenel of Staunton; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Valli Wiggins of Hannibal, Mo.
Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Becker & Son Funeral Home, Mount Olive, the Rev. Nathan Meador officiating. Burial: Benld City Cemetery.
