Alice Coop Hall married first to Andrew Ward on September 23, 1880 in Crockett Mills, Crockett Co., Tennessee. She had two children that died before the age of two years. Life was hard and Andrew died in 1892. She married Jimmy Hall on April 23, 1893. Alice had two more children, Coop and Altie, that survived to adulthood. She died at about 38 years of age; about 6 months after Jimmy Hall died. "She could not live without her Jimmy. She was sick and would not take her medicine." She died of pneumonia.
