Aaron C. Lane, 42, Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2012 at the Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, North Carolina.

He was born on Thursday, May, 28, 1970 in Bloomington, Indiana to Charles R. and Joyce (Guy) Lane.

Aaron was a 1988 graduate of Martinsville High School. After graduation he joined the United States Marine Corp and retired from there on August 31, 2008 as a Staff Sergeant with the 2nd Maintenance Battalion 2DMLG while stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

He is survived by his wife, Deidre B. "Dee" (Odum) Lane; his mother, Joyce (Guy) Lane of Paragon; sisters, Brenda Fraizer and husband W. Kelly of Poland and Linda Ross and husband Andy of Indianapolis; nephews, Eric Christopher Ross, Michael Charles Ross and Robert Voshel Fraizer; nieces, Barbara Anne Ross and Charlotte Olivia Joy Lane; great niece, Lillian Grace Miers.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Teresa (Sublette) Lane and father, Charles R. Lane.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at New Life Christian Church, 2450 Guy Road, Paragon, Indiana, 46166. Visitation will be prior to the funeral service starting at 10:00 a.m.

Burial with military honors will be at Friendship Park Cemetery in Paragon, Indiana.
